Note: Only organization admins can manage Firm Settings.
Access Firm Settings
To access your organization's Firm Settings:
Log in to your CaseScribe account.
Go to Settings.
Select Firm Settings.
From this page, you can review and manage the features available to your organization.
Automatic Key Fact Assignment
Key Facts help identify important facts within a case so they can be easier to find and review.
In Firm Settings, you can choose whether CaseScribe automatically assigns facts as Key Facts during fact extraction.
To manage this setting:
Go to Settings > Firm Settings.
Locate the Key Facts setting.
Enable or disable automatic Key Fact assignment based on your firm's preference.
When enabled, CaseScribe can automatically identify and mark relevant extracted facts as Key Facts.
When disabled, facts will not automatically be assigned as Key Facts.
Fact Grouping
Fact Grouping helps organize related facts together to make reviewing case information easier.
Organization admins can enable or disable Fact Grouping for the organization.
To manage Fact Grouping:
Go to Settings > Firm Settings.
Locate the Group Related Fact setting.
Enable or disable the feature based on your firm's workflow.
This setting applies across your organization.
Automatic Fact Tagging
CaseScribe can automatically apply tags to facts to help organize case information.
Firm Settings allow organization admins to control automatic tagging separately for:
Extracted facts – Facts created by CaseScribe during AI processing.
Manually created facts – Facts created manually by users.
You can enable or disable automatic tagging for each type of fact based on how your firm prefers to organize case information.
Choose Which Tags Are Applied Automatically
When automatic tagging is enabled, you can also control which types of tags CaseScribe applies to facts.
The available options include:
Condition Tags – Tags associated with specific conditions.
Generic Tags – General tags used to categorize information across the case.
Your organization can choose to automatically apply Condition Tags, Generic Tags, or both.
This allows your firm to customize automatic tagging while keeping your Facts organized according to your preferred workflow.
View Features Included in Your Plan
Firm Settings also shows which CaseScribe features are included in your organization's current plan.
This makes it easier for organization admins to see which features are available to their team.
Some features may depend on your organization's CaseScribe plan. If a feature you need is not available, contact the CaseScribe team for more information.
