This release includes improvements across client management, document uploads, case navigation, facts, and login reliability. We’ve also made several interface updates to keep CaseScribe more consistent and easier to navigate.
1. Improved Client Views and Team Assignment
The Clients directory now opens to My clients by default when you belong to a team, making it easier to focus on the clients assigned to your team. You can still switch to All clients whenever needed.
We also improved bulk team assignment (available only for admins). When you select multiple clients and assign them to another team, all selected clients will now move to that team, including clients that were previously assigned elsewhere.
2. More Reliable Large-Batch Uploads
We improved how CaseScribe handles large batches of document uploads.
If part of a large upload encounters an issue while being prepared, CaseScribe can now recover affected files and continue processing them instead of leaving files behind or causing the upload queue to stall.
Upload errors are also surfaced more clearly when a file cannot be prepared, so you can see when something needs attention.
3. More Reliable Document Processing for Special Characters
We fixed an issue that could prevent certain documents from completing processing when their extracted text contained unsupported characters.
CaseScribe now handles these characters safely while preserving valid text, including accented characters, symbols, emoji, and non-Latin characters. This helps affected documents continue through processing instead of failing unexpectedly.
4. Cleaner Facts Toolbar
The Facts toolbar has been simplified so commonly used controls are easier to access.
You can now quickly:
Open Filters
Show or hide Key facts
Expand rows
Group facts by Document, Date, or Tag
Export facts
The previous secondary Options bar has been removed, bringing the main fact controls together in one place.
5. More Consistent CaseScribe Interface
We updated typography, spacing, corners, and other visual details across areas including Clients, Facts, Documents, and Case Summary.
These changes create a more consistent interface as you move between different parts of CaseScribe, without changing how your case information works.
6. Fixed: Unexpected Logouts and Login Redirects
We fixed an issue that could cause active sessions to end unexpectedly or repeatedly redirect users back to the login screen.
Active sessions should now remain stable during normal navigation and page refreshes, reducing unnecessary login interruptions.
