2026-08-10 Release Notes

This release introduces a redesigned Clients experience, more transparent Ask AI templates, greater control over exports, and a more reliable document upload experience.

Here’s what’s new:

New Clients Workflow Experience

The Clients page has been redesigned to make it easier to organize, track, and manage your caseload.

You can now:

  • Organize clients by Team and Workflow Status

  • Filter clients by Team, Status, and Tags

  • Save frequently used filters as personal or firm-wide views

  • Access recently viewed clients more quickly

  • Update a client’s Team or Workflow Status directly from the Clients page

  • Add workflow notes and review a history of changes

  • See more meaningful “Updated” information based on recent client, case, and document activity

Teams are optional and can be created by your organization as needed. Workflow Statuses can also be customized to better match your firm’s process.

Organization admins can manage Teams and Case Statuses from the Admin area, including adding, editing, reordering, and archiving them.

These updates give firms more flexibility to organize and manage their client workflows directly inside CaseScribe.

More Transparent Ask AI Templates

Ask AI templates are now easier to review and understand before you run them.

Hover over a template to preview the full prompt and instructions behind it before starting your analysis.

Once the template runs, Ask AI clearly identifies which template was used and lets you review the exact instructions that were executed.

This gives you greater transparency into how preconfigured Ask AI workflows are guiding the resulting analysis.

More Control Over Documents Included in Exports

When exporting filtered facts with supporting documents, you can now choose which documents to include:

  • All case documents

  • Only documents associated with your filtered facts

For example, if you filter your facts to C&P exam records, you can create an export containing the filtered fact index and only the documents associated with those facts.

This gives you more control over the size and scope of your exports while keeping your selected facts and supporting documents aligned.

Improved Large Export Support

CaseScribe now supports larger single-file combined exports.

Eligible combined exports can be generated as a single PDF up to 12 GB, reducing the need to split large case exports into multiple 3 GB parts.

This makes it easier to download, share, and review large case files as a single document.

More Reliable Document Uploads

We’ve improved the upload experience to help prevent files from being silently missed when an upload encounters a temporary issue.

If a file upload fails, CaseScribe will now automatically retry it. If the file still cannot be uploaded, you’ll see a clear message identifying the affected file instead of the upload appearing to complete successfully.

For recoverable failures, you can also use Retry failed files to try the affected files again without restarting the entire upload.

If a selected file can no longer be read from your computer or cloud storage, CaseScribe will clearly identify the file and let you know what went wrong.

These improvements give you greater confidence that the documents you selected actually made it into your case.

This update is all about better organization, greater transparency, more flexible exports, and more reliable uploads giving your team more confidence as you manage and review cases in CaseScribe.
