If you're experiencing errors when trying to open case documents, the issue may be caused by an outdated browser version.
CaseScribe uses modern document rendering technology, which requires a recent browser version (Chrome 146 or later) to work properly. Older versions may not support required features, which can prevent documents from loading.
How to Update Google Chrome to the Latest Version
On PC or Laptop (Windows or Mac)
Open Google Chrome
Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner
Go to Help → About Google Chrome
Chrome will automatically:
Check for updates
Download the latest version if available
Once complete, click Relaunch
Chrome will restart and apply the update.
Quick Shortcut
You can also copy and paste this into your address bar:
chrome://settings/help
Then press Enter to go directly to the update page.
On Android
Open the Google Play Store
Search for Google Chrome
Tap Update (if available)
On iPhone (iOS)
Open the App Store
Search for Google Chrome
Tap Update
Important Notes
Chrome updates are released gradually, so you may not see version 147 immediately.
If you're already on version 144–146, an update may still be required for compatibility.
After updating, make sure to restart your browser.
