2025-10-13 Release Notes

Updated over 2 weeks ago

This CaseScribe update brings several key improvements to how you filter, export, and view facts plus a few important bug fixes that make navigation and login smoother. These changes are all about giving you more control, fewer clicks, and a better overall experience.

1. New: Document Source Filter on the Facts Screen

You can now filter facts by their document source just like in the Documents tab!
This makes it easy to find, review, and export only the facts tied to specific uploads.

The filter also works seamlessly with exports when you apply it, your exported facts will match your chosen document sources.

2. Smarter Export Options

Exporting facts just got more flexible. You can now choose to export documents from one or more specific sources.

You’ll also see a count of how many facts and documents will be exported before proceeding so you always know exactly what’s going out.

3. Centered Fact Focus in Doc Review

When you click a fact, it now scrolls automatically into the center of your screen so you can stay focused without having to manually scroll.

4. Fixed: App Crash When Adding Large Text Selections

We’ve resolved a crash that could occur when adding a fact from a large text selection in the PDF viewer. You can now safely highlight and save long text passages without issues.

5. Fixed: “State Parameter Is Invalid” Login Error

A login issue affecting first-time users who refreshed the browser during authentication has been fixed. You can now log in normally without seeing the “state parameter is invalid” message.

6. New: Beautiful Error Pages

If you ever land on a missing or broken link, you’ll now see a clean, branded “Page Not Found” message that helps you navigate back to safety instead of a plain error screen.

7. Improved Document Link Behavior (Chat AI)

Document links inside Chat AI messages now redirect more accurately and consistently, ensuring you land on the correct document every time.

We’re always working to make CaseScribe more efficient, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
