This CaseScribe update includes several user experience improvements across the Facts tab, PDF viewer, and document export features. These changes are all about keeping your workflow smooth, intuitive, and distraction-free.
1. Better Fact Visibility When Editing: We’ve made it easier to stay in context while editing or adding facts:
The selected fact will now stay visible after editing or saving.
When adding a new fact, the view will remain expanded so you won’t lose track of what you were working on.
Only one panel or modal will open on the left at a time to avoid screen clutter.
2. PDF Viewer Now Remembers Your Page: Previously, pasting text into the fact editor would reset the viewer to the original page — that’s now fixed. The PDF viewer will stay on the current page, so you can edit without interruptions.
3. Exports Update: We’ve made two key improvements to exporting documents:
Fixed file names: Exported individual files will now retain accurate names — even those with periods in them — with no truncation or extra characters.
Improved export compatibility: Older PDFs uploaded months ago will now export cleanly without breaking.
4. Smoother Fact Text Editing: We’ve reduced extra padding around paragraphs in the fact text editor. This makes bulleted lists and other content feel more compact and easier to read while editing.
5. Faster Processing for Small Documents: We’ve resolved an issue where some small documents were taking unusually long to process. Small documents should now upload and become available much faster, improving overall case preparation speed.
We’re always refining the CaseScribe experience to make fact review faster and more intuitive. Got feedback? We’d love to hear from you.
