This release brings meaningful improvements that help you work faster and with less friction, from cleaner summaries to better filters and faster exports. Here's everything you need to know:
1. Case Summary Now Reflects Deleted or Hidden Facts
If a fact in the Case Summary was deleted or hidden, the summary previously became outdated. Now:
The link to that fact will disappear if it’s no longer valid
A new “Regenerate” button lets you instantly refresh the summary to reflect changes
2. No More Errors When Clicking Fact Citation Links in Case Summary
Clicking a fact citation link in the Case Summary sometimes caused errors, especially if the fact had been deleted or modified. That’s now fixed.
3. Improved Fact and Filter Panel Behavior
We fixed several quality-of-life issues in the Facts tab:
Views now refresh properly when switching tabs or timelines
The Filter panel updates immediately after adding or removing tags
The Quick Tag modal no longer disappears for collapsed facts
Hover stability improved — facts no longer “shake” when Expand All is enabled
4. Faster Export Speed
Thanks to backend improvements, exports are now much faster, especially for large cases.
Documents generate quicker
Exporting facts is noticeably more responsive
5. New Filter: Show Only System or User-Created Facts
To help users who don’t rely on tags, we’ve added a new Fact Creator filter in the Facts tab.
You can now:
Filter by System-created facts (auto-generated by CaseScribe)
Filter by User-created facts (entered manually)
This makes it much easier to find what you added, even in large cases
We’re already working on the next set of features, and your feedback continues to guide our roadmap. If you run into anything unexpected or have suggestions for how we can improve CaseScribe, reach out anytime.
Thanks for being part of the journey. We’re building this with you.
