We’re excited to share the newest CaseScribe updates designed to make reviewing, editing, and tagging facts even more intuitive. From improved layout behavior to powerful new bulk editing tools, this release is focused on saving time, reducing confusion, and helping you get through cases more efficiently.
1. Case Summary Redesign
The Case Summary tab has a fresh new layout with better interactivity and organization:
Click into documents directly from the JD rating decision code sheet.
The combined rating is now easier to find.
Tags for conditions and facts are now clickable and lead to filtered views in the Fact Timeline.
Tags are sorted alphabetically by default, with the option to sort by number.
2. Bulk Edit Mode for Facts
You can now save time by editing multiple facts at once. Click a fact to reveal Bulk Actions button to:
✅ Apply or remove tags
🗓️ Edit fact dates
🗑️ Delete multiple facts
3. Updated Defaults in Facts Tab
To help you get started faster, the Facts tab now:
Opens to the Fact Timeline view by default
Displays the Filters panel right away so you can start filtering immediately
4. Cleaner Exports for Duplicate Documents
When exporting documents that are part of a duplicate group:
Only facts from the default (primary) document will be included
Helps keep your exports clean, concise, and easy to navigate
5. Smarter Auto-Tagging with Controlled Tag Lists
We’ve rolled out a more structured and accurate way to auto-tag facts using only approved tag lists:
Condition Tags (e.g., rdcs: lumbar arthritis, rdcs: hypertension)
Generic Tags (e.g., mental: PTSD, proc/legal: C&P)
This change prevents unnecessary or redundant tags from being created and keeps your tag filters clean and organized.
6. Improved Fact Positioning After Edits and Actions
We’ve resolved an issue where edited or selected facts would scroll off-screen when using Expand Rows:
Facts now stay in view automatically—no more manual scrolling
Applies across Fact Timeline, Medical/Tag Chronology, and Doc Review views
7. Clearer Fact Highlighting
We’ve redesigned how selected facts are visually highlighted to make them easier to spot:
Selected facts now stand out clearly and consistently across documents
Inspired by familiar UI styles like Gmail, so you always know which fact you're working with
We’re always working to enhance your experience. Let us know if you have any feedback!
