2025-08-18 Release Notes

Updated over 3 weeks ago

This release introduces major improvements to how condition tags are managed across updated RDCS documents, along with bug fixes to document uploads and clearer system feedback during processing.

1. Smarter Condition Tag Management

When a new Ratings Decision Code Sheet (RDCS) is uploaded, condition tags are now handled more intelligently:

  • No more lost tags: Existing tags are preserved instead of being deleted, even if the condition no longer appears in the new RDCS.

  • Matching logic: The system compares new RDCS conditions to current tags using semantic matching (e.g., “left knee pain” will match “pain in left knee”) and keeps user-added notes intact.

  • Historical tracking: Conditions that are no longer listed are marked as “Historical Tag” instead of removed. These are clearly distinguished in the UI from current conditions.

  • New conditions will still be added as usual.

This update ensures a full history of condition tags is maintained over time and that your work isn’t lost during reprocessing.

2. Upload Panel Bug Fixes

We’ve fixed two common issues related to document uploads:

  • Upload panels getting stuck on “Uploading…” after canceling a batch or adding new files

  • Batch naming and save options not appearing in some edge cases

These issues have been resolved. Users can now retry, remove, and complete uploads without the panel freezing or losing access to confirmation steps.

3. Improved Visual Feedback During Processing

We’ve resolved a UI issue where the loading icon was not spinning during processing tasks like document uploads or auto-tagging. The loading icon now spins correctly when background actions are active, helping users understand that the system is still working.
