Why Are My Exported Files Downloaded in Multiple Folders?

Updated yesterday

Issue

If your exported files are split into two or more separate ZIP folders, with an extension like "_1", it means the total file size exceeded 3GB.

Why Does This Happen?

  • CaseScribe automatically splits exported combined PDF files when they exceed 3GB.

  • Each combined PDF file is limited to 3GB to ensure smooth processing and downloading.

How to Fix

Option 1: Manually Combine the Files

  • Merge all the original documents from your source files.

Option 2: Combine the Exported PDFs

  • Use a PDF merging tool to combine the exported files while retaining bookmarks for easy navigation.

Option 3: Contact CaseScribe Support

  • If you need assistance, reach out to us, and we can manually combine the documents for you.
