How to Stop a Processing Document in CaseScribe

Updated this week

Users may need to stop or delete a document marked as "Processing" for several reasons, such as:

  • The file is a duplicate.

  • Processing is taking too long.

  • The wrong file was uploaded.

Can You Stop a Document in Processing?

Yes!
With the latest update, you can now manually delete a document that is still in the "Processing" group.

How to Delete a Document in the "Processing" Group

  1. Go to the Documents Tab and locate the "Processing" group at the top of your document list.

  2. Find the document you want to remove.

  3. Click the Delete (trash can) icon next to the document.

    • Tip: This action will immediately stop the processing and remove the file from your case.

What If Processing Is Stuck?

  • If a document remains stuck or unresponsive even after attempting to delete, try refreshing the page.

  • If the problem persists or the document won’t delete, contact CaseScribe Support via Intercom or email for further assistance.

No More Waiting

Previously, users had to wait for processing to finish or fail before deleting a file. Now, you have more control and can quickly keep your case files organized and error-free.
