2026-03-13 Release Notes

Updated over a week ago

This update focuses on improving navigation, fixing several workflow issues, and making the AI chat experience more powerful and easier to use. We’ve also added new ways to quickly switch between cases and better understand where facts come from.

Here’s what’s new:

1. Faster Case Switching

You can now quickly jump between recently viewed cases without navigating back through the client list. New features include:

Recent Cases in the Sidebar

  • A new Recent Cases icon in the sidebar lets you access your recently viewed cases from anywhere in the app

  • Up to 10 recent cases are stored for quick navigation

These shortcuts make it much easier to move between cases during active work sessions.

2. Fact Creator Now Displayed on Fact Cards

Fact cards now show who originally created the fact.

You’ll see a small metadata line such as:

  • Created by System

  • Created by Ask AI

  • Created by Jane Smith

This appears both when viewing a fact and when editing it, giving you clearer context about where information originated.

3. Tags from Nested Facts Now Carry Over to Grouped Facts

When facts are consolidated into a grouped (umbrella) fact, any unique tags from the nested facts are automatically carried over.

This ensures:

  • Important tags are preserved

  • Duplicate tags are not created

  • Existing tags on the umbrella fact are not repeated

4. AI Chat Improvements: New Model Selection Option

We’ve made several upgrades to the AI chat experience to improve usability and output quality.

You can now choose between Standard and Advanced AI models when using Chat. This allows you to:

  • Use Standard for faster responses

  • Use Advanced for more complex questions and deeper analysis

5. Bug Fixes and Workflow Improvements

We also resolved several issues that could interrupt everyday workflows.

Fixes include:

  • Notifications for Auto-Tagging now appear correctly in the Documents tab

  • Tag changes can now be saved correctly after filtering tasks by category

  • Case header spacing improved so Case Summary text is no longer hidden on smaller screens

  • When opening a document from filtered results in the Documents or Facts tab, closing the PDF viewer will now return you to the same scroll position in the results list.

  • Selecting a document from Global Search now scrolls correctly to the relevant location even when the document contains a large number of facts.

These improvements are all about speed, clarity, and smoother navigation, helping you move between cases faster, understand facts more easily, and get more out of AI chat.
