Using Super Reader in CaseScribe

Super Reader provides a flexible way to review documents in CaseScribe by opening the document reader in a separate browser window.

With Super Reader, you can review documents, navigate between files, create facts, add notes, and use Ask AI without having to return to the main Documents tab.

It is especially useful when working with multiple monitors or when you want more screen space while reviewing case documents.

Opening Super Reader

To open Super Reader:

  1. Navigate to the Documents tab within a case.

  2. Open the document you want to review.

  3. Select the Open Reader option to open the document in a separate browser window.

Once opened, you can move the Super Reader window to another monitor or position it alongside the main CaseScribe window.

Navigating Between Documents

Use the Documents panel to open other documents in the case without leaving Super Reader.

You can hide the Documents panel when you need more viewing space and reopen it at any time.

PDF and Text Views

Switch between:

  • PDF View – Displays the original PDF.

  • Text View – Displays the extracted text.

Working With Facts

You can review and create facts directly from Super Reader.

To create a fact from a document:

  1. Highlight the relevant text.

  2. Select the option to create a fact.

  3. Review and update the fact details as needed.

  4. Save the fact.

Notes and Ask AI

Use the right-side panel to access Notes and Ask AI while reviewing a document.

You can also hide the panel when you need more space for the document.

Using Multiple Monitors

Since Super Reader opens in a separate browser window, you can move it to another monitor while keeping the main CaseScribe application open on your primary screen.

This allows you to review source documents while working with other case information at the same time.
